What subjects are taught in the core program?

Devotion, Vocabulary, Latin, Spelling, Handwriting, Grammar, Composition, Literature, History, and Geography

What additional classes are offered?

Math, science, art, and theater classes are also offered.

When do classes meet?

Once a week. Please refer to the school pages for specific class schedules.

How will I know what to teach my child at home?

Each week students are sent home with a detailed assignment sheet that goes over everything they are supposed to accomplish for the week. It also includes information about upcoming events and other things that are happening at school.

Is there a dress code?

Yes. Students are required to wear navy blue or forest green polo shirts, and modest khaki pants, shorts, or skirts. Polos with the Keystone logo are also available for purchase.

Do I have to purchase books?

No. All books and materials will be purchased for you and will be covered by your registration fee at the beginning of the year.

Our classes meet at Pine Ridge Church: 3900 South Hiawassee Road, Orlando, FL 32835

Does your calendar follow the public school system?

We try our best to match our schedule to the Orange County Public School System.

Do you administer standardized tests?

Yes. Beginning in the third grade we administer the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills.

Can my child take individual classes without being enrolled in core classes?

Yes. All of our classes can be taken individually.
